Overflow Menu Overview
The overflow menu, represented by three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the Perks module, provides users with additional options for managing their perks.
Available Actions
- Rearrange Perks
- Apply a Claim Code
- View Hidden Perks
- History
Overflow Menu: Rearrange Perks
The Rearrange Perks option in the overflow menu allows users to change the order of how perks are displayed on their homepage, giving them more control over how they view and prioritize their rewards.
How It Works
- When a user clicks “Rearrange perks” from the overflow menu, a modal appears with guidance on how to reorder their perks
- The user can either click “Let’s go” or tap anywhere outside the modal to dismiss it
- After dismissing the modal, the user can long press any perk and drag it to their preferred location within the Perks Hub
Overflow Menu: Apply a Claim Code
While most perks are automatically delivered to a user’s Perks Hub, the “Apply a claim code” option allows customers to manually unlock a perk using a code—typically provided by support if something didn’t go as expected.
How It Works
- When a customer selects “Apply a claim code” from the overflow menu, they are taken to a dedicated screen
- They see a text field where they can enter the code provided
- Clicking “Continue” will validate the code
- If valid, the associated perk will be added to their Perks homepage
When It Is Used
- Most customers will not need to use this feature during regular use
- Support agents may issue a claim code in cases where:
- A perk failed to display correctly
- An expected perk is missing
- The user experienced technical issues during redemption
- Claim codes are issued by the Kigo team and require escalation
Overflow Menu: View Hidden Perks
The View Hidden Perks option allows users to access perks they’ve previously chosen to hide from their homepage. This feature gives users more control over what’s visible in their Perks Hub.
How It Works
- A user can hide any perk by selecting “Hide from Perks” on the perk’s detail page
- Hidden perks are not deleted — they’re simply moved out of view
- By selecting “View Hidden Perks” from the overflow menu, users can:
- See all hidden perks
- Click on a specific perk to view its details
- Choose “Add back to Perks” to restore it to their homepage
- If the user has not hidden any perks, they will see the empty state screen
Overflow Menu: History
The History section provides users with a record of actions taken on their perks — including when a perk was added, hidden, restored, or expired. This feature helps users track perk activity over time.
How it Works
- The History view is accessible via the overflow menu
- It automatically logs key events for each perk, including when a perk is …
- Added
- Hidden
- Unhidden
- Expired
- Future: sent, send canceled, removed, reported, revealed
- Some rows in the history are view-only and others include a “View details” button allowing a user to click and be directed to the corresponding perks’ detail page
